TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY SCHEDULED. This fun, family event will take place on Friday, November 29th starting at 6:30 pm within the charming streets of Gaslight Village in East Grand Rapids.

This annual tradition has been a popular holiday attraction in Gaslight Village for over 30 years. Join this year’s special guest emcee Rachel Ruiz of WOOD TV’s eightWest as she welcomes Santa and Mrs. Claus to Gaslight Village. Together, they will light the 20 foot tall Holiday Tree in the center of Regatta Plaza.

The Kent District Library of East Grand Rapids will be on hand to entertain children with a fun holiday craft. The whole family can snack on tasty s’mores around a bonfire, pet real live reindeer, and take a ride on a horse-drawn trolley. Little ones will also have the opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap for a picture. All the activities are free. Presented by The Gaslight Village Business Association and made possible in part by Spectrum Health.

Notice: Wealthy Street will be closed between Bagley and Croswell from 5:30 to 9:30 pm for this event.
