During fall leaf season, leaves may be placed curbside without being placed in containers. Leaves should be placed along or in the street without obstructing the traveled portion of the roadway and away from storm sewer catch basins. We ask that residents assist in keeping catch basins clear to prevent localized flooding from rain events. During fall leaf pickup, depending on the amount of leaves in each route as they fall, crews may be off schedule by a day. Please view yard waste rules and regulations for more information. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.

While out in the yard this fall, if you have a mailbox in the right-of-way (out by the street), take a few minutes to check the condition of your mailbox and post. The most common reason why a mailbox and post is damaged during the winter is not from physical contact with a plow, but the deteriorated condition of a mailbox and/or post combined with the impact of snow being thrown from plows off of the street. Read more
