A NOTE FROM MAYOR FAVALE

Hello friends and neighbors! I would like to, once again, thank you for the opportunity to serve our community as your new mayor.

I would also like to personally thank former City Commissioners Brian Miller and Chad Zagel, as well as former Mayor Amna Seibold. Thank you for your many years of service and dedication to our wonderful community.

On to some new business — as some of you may know, I hold a monthly coffee, called EGR Coffee Talk, where residents are welcomed to join me and discuss all things East. This weekend, I will host the last EGR Coffee Talk of 2019 on Dec. 7 at the Starbucks by Fresh Thyme, 2480 Burton St. SE, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. First Ward Commissioner Kris Pachla will be joining me as well. Please come by if you are able; we’d love the opportunity to meet and speak with you.

Starting in the new year, I look forward to holding regular office hours so that I am consistently available to meet with and help residents. I will update you on those hours in the coming weeks. In the meantime, do not hesitate to reach out to me at 949.2110 x 887 or kfavale@eastgr.org with any questions, comments or concerns you may have.

Again, thank you for this wonderful opportunity to serve the community that we all love.

All the best,

Katie
