    The East Grand Rapids Board of Review will be in session at 8:00 a.m. on July 16, 2019 at the City of East Grand Rapids, 750 Lakeside Dr, SE. for the purpose of correcting clerical errors and mutual mistakes of fact in the 2019 and 2018 assessment rolls as provided for under MCLA 211.53(b). The Board may also consider 2016 through 2019 Principal Residence Exemption affidavits where no previous affidavit was filed or denied. Applications for residence exemption affidavits must be completed prior to the Board meeting and must include an accurately filed Principal Residence Exemption Affidavit.

    These family friendly movies will be shown on an inflatable screen beginning at dusk. Come early for the best seat and don't forget your own lawn chair or blanket. Alcohol, barbecues, grilling and open fires are not allowed in John Collins Park. All dogs must be on a leash no more than six feet in length.   4. Adaptive Wake Surf Tour

    July 27, 2019, 7:15 AM - 6:00 PM @ John Collins Park

    Hanger Clinic and Tommy's have joined together to offer a free adaptive wake surfing clinic in Grand Rapids for people with limb loss, limb difference and other physical challenges. Wake surfing is a low impact water sport easy for all ages and abilities to learn quickly. This clinic is appropriate for all ages, from beginners who have never tried wake surfing to experts. All boats and equipment will be provided, and there will be professional instructors on each boat to help each rider achieve their goals.
