The East Grand Rapids Board of Review will be in session at 8:00 a.m. on December 11, 2018 for the purpose of correcting clerical errors and mutual mistakes of fact in the 2018 and 2017 assessment rolls as provided for under MCLA 211.53(b). The Board may also consider 2015 through 2018 homestead exemptions where no previous affidavit was filed and denied. Applications for homestead exemptions must be completed prior to the Board and must include an accurately filed Homestead Affidavit.

The Planning Commission meets the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm, however, meetings are sometimes cancelled if there are no agenda items. Please contact 616.940.4817 prior to each meeting to verify a meeting is being held.
In 2018, the Planning Commission will be updating the comprehensive master plan, with the first public input sessions at each meeting. Residents, business owners and employees can ask questions, make suggestions and voice concerns. The public is encouraged to attend.
